Course is the teaching restaurant of the Great Plains Culinary Institute, the culinary division of Southeast Community College. They needed a mark that felt simple, modern, and upscale, aligning with both the professional quality of the dining experience and the academic setting.

The final design uses a clean, lowercase wordmark paired with a subtle, stylized underline that doubles as a plate and serving gesture. The restrained typography and minimal symbol keep the identity approachable while still signaling refinement — a balance between fine dining and educational professionalism.

This logo reflects the restaurant’s role as both a place of learning and a dining destination, giving the brand a timeless and versatile identity.
